Everyone has their own personal story as to why they quilt. The bottom line is: Quilting has the power to heal us - quilting together makes us stronger, helps us through grief & illness, brings us joy, connects us, gives us hope & courage, makes us better problem solvers, makes us better people (generous), and inspires us to be more creative with everything in our lives. \r\n\r\nThe Slow Stitching<\/a> movement, launched by Mark Lipinski, is a cure for today's need for speed & greed. It is defined as \"Approaching your craft being fully present & deliberately intentional in order to be in a relationship with your creative self.\" Sue ended her presentation by challenging us to work on our craft by spending 20 minutes a day being totally mindful at every step of the process. \r\n\r\nGuild Program:; Tell:<\/strong> \n\n \t
