February 2010 Guild Meeting
The February meeting was our annual "Tie-In for Northeast Kids." Over 20 quilt tops and backings were paired with battings graciously donated by the Gloversville Sewing Center. Guild members worked in groups to tie the quilts. This is traditionally one of the more favored guild meetings as our members get the chance to visit with other members over a good old-fashioned quilt tying. The tied quilts were taken home by volunteers who will finish the quilts by attaching the binding and bring them back to a future guild meeting where they will be collected and turned over to Northeast Parent & Child and given to a child in need.  The evening also included a short business meeting and members' show & tell.
