Over 30 quilt tops and backings were paired with battings graciously donated by the Gloversville Sewing Center.\u00a0\u00a0Guild members had the opportunity\u00a0to visit with other members over a good old-fashioned quilt tying.\u00a0 The tied quilts were taken home by volunteers who will finish the quilts by attaching the binding and bring them back to a future guild meeting where they will be collected and turned over to Northeast Parent & Child and given to a child in need. As for it being an 'overflowing' success, since we had so many quilt tops, there were several pairings left over and it was decided to hold a second tie-in at the March meeting.\r\n\r\nThe evening also included a short business meeting and members\u2019 show & tell.\u00a0 Q.U.I.L.T.S. extends a special Thank You!<\/strong> to Gloversville Sewing Center<\/a> for their generous donation of batting.\r\n\r\nMembers\u2019 Show & Tell:<\/strong> \n\n \t
