2015-2016 Mystery Quilt – Graceful Moments

This year’s Mystery Quilt is called “Graceful Moments” from Phoebe Moon Quilt Designs. “Graceful Moments” has 8 steps from start to finish, and will be distributed at regular guild meetings and will be posted on our guild website each month from September to April. Even if you don’t start right away, the directions will always be available on the website, so you can start at any time, and catch up at your own speed. The quilt will measure 62” x 78,” but can be enlarged to 72” x 88” with the border options seen in the cutting directions. The colors suggested in the cutting directions are merely suggestions, but you will notice that there are two colors that call for a “light” version and a “dark” version. Choose two colors that you love to see together, and add other colors or prints that blend with both. This year’s design also includes an optional table runner which will be shown at the end of the challenge. The table runner will not be part of the challenge or eligible for prizes. The Mystery Quilt challenge will end at our June 2016 meeting, when members will vote for their favorite mystery quilt. Each entry much be finished, quilted and bound.
