Guild Tool Library
Q.U.I.L.T.S. maintains a lending library of 170+ quilting tools - rulers, stencils and templates. Members may borrow up to five items at a time, due back at the next meeting. The stencils were categorized by type using letter designations: A for animals, B for borders, C for center block motifs, F for flowers, M for miscellaneous, N for nature and S for seasonal.
The rulers and templates are for cutting various angles and shapes and to assist with trimming blocks such as half-square triangles and flying geese units. Many of the rulers are from Eleanor Burns’ and Deb Tucker’s lines of rulers. Directions are included with a majority of these rulers. There are a few templates including, Drunkard’s Path, Tumbler, I Spy and Windmill.
