About Q.U.I.L.T.S.

Quilters United in Learning Together, Schenectady (Q.U.I.L.T.S.) is a group of avid quilters who enjoys the design, color, artistry and craft of making quilts.  The Guild was formed in 1980 and has approximately 120 active members living in Schenectady, Saratoga, Albany and surrounding communities.  The range of quilting experience in our membership varies from beginner to expert.

Some of our members are very experienced, and have taught classes and published articles and patterns.  Several members have had their quilts shown on local, national and international levels.  Many of our members are beginners, who joined the guild to learn how to make quilts.  No matter what the experience level, there is always something to be learned and everyone has something to share.  Q.U.I.L.T.S. members meet to learn, laugh and enjoy the quilting experience with others.

Q.U.I.L.T.S. generally meets the first Thursday of every month from September through June.  Meetings are held at The Reformed Church of Scotia, 224 N. Ballston Ave., Scotia, NY.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m.  The meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and run until about 9:00 p.m.  Visitors and guests are welcome. There is a non-member fee ranging from $5 to $20 depending upon the evening's program.
