How to Make a Quilt Sleeve
Measure the width of the top of your quilt and add one inch. Cut a piece of muslin 12.5” wide by this measurement. Hem the short ends. Fold the muslin lengthwise, right sides together, and sew a one half-inch seam. Turn the tube right side out and press. Attach the sleeve to the top edge (wrong side, just below the binding). Sew it using a small running (hand) stitch, being careful to keep the stitches from showing on the front of the quilt. Stitch both the top and bottom edges of the sleeve to the quilt.
