Linda Warren Linda Warren, of Linda Warren Designs shared strategies about picking colors, color palletes, and color contrast using a trunk show of her quilts as examples. She showed us the versatility of her Learning Curve Tool. Friday, she taught the workshop “Over the Moon” using her techniques and tool. Linda Warren

September 2019 Guild Meeting

 

Diana Marshall Diana Marshall, of the Gloversville Sewing Center started off our guild year with some helpful advice. Talking about Best Materials + Best Practices = Best Quilts , she reminded us about the importance of of basics like needles and thread. Gone are the days when the only choice you had in thread was the color!

Jane Sassaman


Jane A. Sassaman, contemporary quilt artist, fabric design, author, and teacher brought her wonderful spirit and designs to inspire our guild with her approach to design and applique. She shared her journey and the influences in her art and her quilting.

Her workshop on Friday invited members to explore a new way of approaching design and technique with the small wall hangings “Suns and Moons”.
As usual, the meeting also included members’ Show & Tell.
