October 2014 Guild Meeting
This month's guild meeting featured a presentation and trunk show from designer and teacher Marlous Carter of Marlous Designs. Marlous shared several of her designs from her new book, 'Director's Cut - Stash Busting with Precuts 1,' where several of the samples were made by the guild's own members.  Marlous also gave several tips for giving a quilt 'attitude!'.  The Guild's 2014 Raffle Quilt is one of Marlous's original designs! The business meeting evolved around last minute preparations for the upcoming Autumn Inspirations 2014 show, which will be held at Proctors GE Theatre on October 18 & 19.  Our next meeting will held on October 16 at the Underground at Proctors.  There will not be a regular business meeting held that evening, rather the guild will be working on initial set up and preparations for the show.
