December 2014 Guild Meeting
Our guild members work hard to make and donate quilts for foster children at Northern Rivers Family Services and for our country's Veterans. For the most part we never know who receives our works of love and caring, but every once in a while we do. One of our members was fortunate enough to personally deliver a quilt to a Vietnam Vet who appreciated his quilt and our donation work so much that he took the time to design a logo for our Veterans Quilt Program. The logo was presented to Guild member, Pat Terry, who heads up the program. Our annual holiday celebration featured presentations by several area quilt shop owners, a delicious selection of snacks brought in by members, and an always wonderful display of show & tell. Members also brought in donations of personal care items for the Family Life Center at the Schenectady City Mission and mittens, gloves, hats, and various other items for Northern Rivers Family Services.
