November 2015 Guild Meeting
Internationally-known quilt teacher, artist and author, Joen Wolfrom gave an interesting, informative presentation on Color Play. Joen also conducted a 2-day workshop on color theory.
We are sure she was impressed by our own guild members’ use of color during the always impressive show & tell.

October 2015 Guild Meeting – Annual Sew-In for Kids
The October Guild Meeting was the Guild’s annual Sew-In for Northern Rivers Kids. At this meeting, members worked together to sew tops for donation to Northern Rivers Family Services. The sewing began at 4:00 and continued into the evening, with a short break for pizza, tossed salad and a business meeting. There was no Show & Tell at this meeting.

September 2015 Guild Meeting
Q.U.I.L.T.S. members and guests were welcomed back to a new guild year with an educational, and very entertaining, presentation on Antique Quilts by Kris Driessen, owner of The Quiltbug. Kris shared her knowledge of the lifestyles, clothing and quilt making of women from the early 1800s through the mid 1900s. Kris’s presentation included several samples of early clothing and quilts. The evening included a business meeting and another wonderful display of members’ show & tell.

June 2015 Guild Meeting
Another guild year drew to a close with our annual potluck dinner. Lots of good food, friendship and quilts. Year end challenges were on display and viewer’s choice prizes were awarded.
We look forward to seeing everyone in September!
