September 2014 Guild Meeting
Guild members were welcomed into the new guild year with a Member Business Showcase. Many of our guild members have their own quilt-related businesses and they were given the opportunity to share with the group who they are and what they do. Presenters included:

The business meeting included an overview of the upcoming guild year, new challenges for June, and an update on Autumn Inspirations 2014, which is fast approaching.  The evening concluded with Members’ Show & Tell.

June 2014 Guild Meeting
Q.U.I.L.T.S. members celebrated the end of another successful guild year with our traditional pot luck dinner. In addition to delicious food, there was plenty of eye candy, as the Challenge and Mystery quilts were on display and up for viewer’s choice voting. What a marvelous end to the year! May 2014 Guild Meeting
Guest lecturer and teacher, Linda Halpin shared helpful tips about how to block our quilts for squareness, how to bind, and how to prepare for show. She also shared these lovely quilts from her collection and her two books: “Scrap Bonanza 2” and “Quilting with Laura: Patterns inspired by the Little House on the Prairie Series.”
Linda, from Boscobel, WI is a quilter, author, teacher, and historian and is well known for her use of color, books, patterns, mystery quilt patterns, applique and historical research. Check out her website at www.lindahalpin.com
Preparations are underway for Autumn Inspirations 2014. Queen Lois Bena, of the Volunteer Court, had some fun introducing and encouraging volunteers for the 2014 Autumn Inspirations Quilt Show. The meeting also included a dazzling display of members’ show & tell.

April 2014 Guild Meeting
This month’s guild meeting featured Sue Pelland and her wonderful trunk show of appliquéd quilts made with her Leaves Galore Templates and Mistyfuse.
