2010 Winter Blues Sit N’ Sew

Our first annual Winter Blues Sit N' Sew is now history. And what a success it was!   Twenty-eight of our members participated.  Each worked on varying stages of their projects. Some brought sewing machines and pieced tops for themselves or for their own family and friends, others worked together to piece tops for Northeast Kids or for the Soldier Project, while others worked on hand quilting or sewing down binding on their finished quilts.  Everyone enjoyed the company of fellow quilters.  The location was great - parking was excellent and the facility was wonderful. Though it was a bit on the cool side, the sun was shining and many enjoyed taking a quick walk at lunch to the various restaurants downtown Schenectady has to offer.
