2010 Summer Cooler Sit N’ Sew

Is there a better way to spend a hot, humid summer day than in the air conditioned Underground at Proctors stitching away with a bunch of fellow quilters?   Approximately 15 QUILTS members and friends attended our first annual Summer Cooler Sit N' Sew.   Most of the quilters worked on comfort quilts for the Guild's Northeast Kids and Injured Soldiers projects while others used the day to catch up on personal quilting projects.   New friends were made, lunch was wonderful - whether it was brown bag or from one of the wonderful downtown Schenectady eateries, and the accommodations were perfect.  A special thank you goes out to Proctors for making sure we had everything we needed for a fun, productive Sit N' Sew.
