December 2016 Guild Meeting
The December guild meeting was our annual Holiday Celebration, with members bringing in their favorite ‘sweet and savory’ treats to share. In addition to making comfort quilts for donation to Northern Rivers Family Services and the VA Hospital throughout the year, members brought in special donations of hats and gloves for the children at Northern Rivers and personal care items for the women at the Schenectady City Mission.

November 2016 Guild Meeting – Sew-In for Northern Rivers’ Kids
The November Guild Meeting was the Guild’s annual Sew-In for Northern Rivers’ Kids.  Members and guests spent a relaxing evening working in groups to sew quilt tops which will be turned into completed quilts for donation to Northern Rivers Family Services. The work began at 4:00 and continued into the evening, with a short break for pizza, tossed salad and a business meeting. There was no Show & Tell at this meeting.

September 2016 Guild Meeting
The guild welcomed 10 new members as it kicked off the 2016-2017 guild year. The business meeting included an overview of what was planned for the upcoming year with a focus on the upcoming Autumn Inspirations 2016 show.

June 2016 Guild Meeting
Guild members celebrated the end of another successful guild year with our annual potluck dinner. Lots of good food, friendship and quilts. Year-end challenges were on display and viewer’s choice prizes were awarded. Good job, everyone!
We look forward to seeing everyone in September!
